What or Who?

With so many things to invest time and money into, how do we know what to invest in? Maybe the question isn't what, it's who! I love this quote from the book WHO NOT HOW:

"If you're cost-minded, then by nature, you're transactional and short-term focused. You'll see WHOs as a cost, which means you'll never be able to create the brilliant collaborations that are possible. WHOs, when selected properly to fit within your vision, are never a cost. WHOs are an investment!"

Invest

So, how do we invest? Good question! It can be as simple as a smile, a phone call, or a thank you note. Whatever it is, Invest. This can go a long way as a leader in a business, and in other areas of our lives too. When those we work with know that we care, they want to contribute what they have to offer.

The Return will be plentiful!

Once we invest, we begin to see the return on our investment. Team members begin to invest back. Relationships are strengthened. Collaboration flows. We reach new heights. And, we go farther together then we could ever dream of going on our own.
